About Site Chronicle

Why Site Chronicle exists

Subcontractors regularly complete legitimate additional work, absorb delays and allocate labour and plant without creating records strong enough to support payment.

Site Chronicle was created to close that gap.

Payment, delay, disruption & change evidence

Built from decades of construction commercial and claims experience.

Built from direct commercial experience

Site Chronicle was created by a construction commercial and claims specialist supporting subcontractors across UK infrastructure and civil-engineering projects.

The platform was built from direct experience of seeing completed work, legitimate change and substantial site disruption become difficult to recover because the records created at the time were incomplete, inconsistent or commercially unusable.

Built specifically for subcontractors

Site Chronicle is not a general project-management system.

It is designed around the evidence subcontractors need to record:

  • 01what work was completed;
  • 02where and when it happened;
  • 03who and what plant were affected;
  • 04what caused delay or disruption;
  • 05what instructions were received;
  • 06what additional cost or time resulted;
  • 07what evidence supports the account.

The objective

The objective is simple:

Help subcontractors create better evidence while the facts are still fresh.

Developed and tested through daily use on live UK subcontractor projects. If a feature doesn’t survive a wet trench at 4pm, it doesn’t ship.
